Why should a bypass oil filter be installed in the hydraulic system?
There are usually three kinds of oil filters commonly used in hydraulic system: oil suction filter, pipeline filter and oil return filter. These three kinds of filters are installed in the oil circuit of the hydraulic system. They require small pressure loss, large flow and are not easy to be blocked. Therefore, their filtering accuracy is generally more than 10 microns. They can only filter out polluting solid particles of more than 10 microns, and can not filter out polluting particles of 0.1 ~ 5 microns that do great harm to the hydraulic system, let alone filter out water and inhibit oxides. This type of filter is usually called coarse filter. Its main function is to protect the oil pump from the damage of pollution particles above 10 microns, but it can not protect hydraulic components with high matching accuracy such as servo proportional valve. 80 ~ 90% of hydraulic system faults are caused by hydraulic oil pollution, such as oil pump wear, abnormal noise of oil pump, abnormal opening and closing die, system pressure failure or unstable pressure, oil valve jamming or jamming, excessive oil temperature, oil leakage, etc.
The bypass oil filter has high filtering accuracy, can effectively filter out the pollution particles of 0.1 ~ 5 microns that do great harm to the hydraulic system, and can filter out water. Therefore, the bypass oil filter is an effective supplement to the oil circuit filter of the hydraulic system. The bypass oil filter has the function of absorbing pollutants by stages, strong pollutant adsorption function and absorbing and locking moisture. The biggest feature of bypass oil filter is to remove micron pollution particles, remove moisture and oxides and inhibit their generation. Make the cleanliness grade of filtered oil higher than the standard of new oil for a long time, and the cleanliness grade of oil reaches nas5 at the highest.
